The Head of Surveillance Tuning and Calibration is aa senior leadership role within the Change & Digital Enablement Team, reporting to the Global Head of Analytics, working in partnership with the Global Surveillance Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that surveillance scenarios, detection models and alerting thresholds are actively calibrated to maximise risk detection in an evolving risk landscape, minimizing false positives while ensuring the detection of genuine market abuse and conduct risks. This role will focus on building and maintaining a robust tuning methodology, leveraging both data science and subject matter expertise (SME), ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry best practice. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across various teams and roles including Surveillance Product and Model Owners, Technology and Operational teams to continuously enhance and refine the bank's surveillance capabilities. <
