Head of Residents and Support Location: Birmingham (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)Salary: Circa £66,677 + £5,000 car allowanceStart Date: ASAP Are you a strategic housing leader ready to make a real impact? We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to head up our newly formed Residents and Support team in Birmingham. This is a high-profile role with the opportunity to shape services, lead innovation, and improve outcomes for residents. About the Role As Head of Residents and Support, you’ll lead a team of 14 (including 2 direct reports) delivering high-quality housing management and support services. You’ll be responsible for: Managing complex cases including ASB, domestic abuse, and safeguardingActing as the organisation’s safeguarding lead, including modern slaveryDriving service improvement and contributing to board-level discussionsEnsuring compliance with housing regulations and standardsBuilding strong relationships with internal teams and external partners About You We’re seeking someone with: Proven experience in housing or supported housingStrong leadership and strategic thinking skillsConfidence in safeguarding, compliance, and resident engagementFlexibility to work in a hybrid model (typically 3 days/week in Birmingham) Additional Information Participation in the out-of-hours manager rotaDriving licence and access to a vehicle requiredOccasional evening/weekend work may be necessary This is a newly created role with real scope to lead change and shape the future of resident services.
