• Egypt Education Platform is seeking a talented and dynamic individual for the position of Head of Mathematics for the Academic Year 2026–2027 at our esteemed school. The ideal candidate will provide vision and leadership to the mathematics department, driving high standards in teaching and learning while fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the mathematics department, ensuring alignment with the school's educational values and standards.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive mathematics curriculum that meets the diverse needs of all students.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress and teaching quality, providing feedback and support to enhance instructional practices.
• Foster a culture of high expectations for both students and faculty, encouraging innovative and effective teaching strategies.
• Collaborate with other department heads and school leadership to ensure a cohesive educational approach throughout the institution.
• Organize professional development opportunities for mathematics teachers, promoting continuous learning and collaboration.
• Actively engage with parents and the community to build strong partnerships that support student success in mathematics.
• Stay informed on current trends and research in mathematics education to continuously enhance the curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
• PGCE or QTS is required.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an educational setting, ideally within the mathematics department.
• Strong understanding of curricular frameworks and effective teaching practices in mathematics.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about mathematics and committed to fostering a positive learning environment for students and staff alike.
• Experience with data-driven decision-making and student assessment strategies.
