Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county.
The Head of Friendships and Community Connecting is a brand new senior role, created to manage and lead our friendship focused services, which aim to promote wellbeing, independence and access to wider support. The post holder will be responsible for a full review and development of volunteering within the organisation and the introduction of a new Care Home Volunteer Visiting service.
Working closely with the Leadership and Management team you will be dynamic, bringing innovative ideas to create sustainable services and valuable opportunities in line with Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough’s new strategy.
o Hours: 35 hours per week
o Location: This post is home based with extensive travel required.
o Salary: Dependent on experience +benefits

The successful candidate will be required to undertake Disclosure and Barring Service check at an ENHANCED level.
