- Job Description
- We have an exciting leadership opportunity to join L&G Asset Management within our Global Distribution team as Head of ETF Distribution.
- This is a high-impact leadership role where you’ll lead the global distribution of ETFs as we double down on growing our ETF business across channels and geographies in indexed, systematic and actively managed strategies.
- You will be responsible for the development and delivery of L&G Asset Management’s ETF business plans and sales strategy to drive new business acquisition efforts globally working in close partnership with our regional channel sales teams.
What you’ll be doing
- Working in partnership with the Global Head of ETFs and Index and other senior Investment stakeholders, setting the strategic direction for L&G Asset Management’s ETF business and acting as the voice of Distribution with senior stakeholders in relation to this business area
- Leading the ETF distribution team, developing new and existing client relationships, and working closely with regional channel heads (across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, and the US), creating channel-specific sales plans tailored to client requirements
- Delivering ETF sales, including retaining and extending platform, consultant, and fund ratings/positioning, collaborating with relevant investment and channel heads to drive results
- Developing the strategy for marketing and product, partnering with Marketing teams to define the approach to conferences, industry and proprietary events, focusing on generating new business leads, engaging at an industry association level, and partnering with Product teams to evolve the ETF offering
- Acting as a key spokesperson for the ETF business, representing the L&G Asset Management brand and profile
- Bringing ETF product expertise and understanding relevant client distribution channels (including digital), requirements, and preferences
- Contributing to embedding a strong and collaborative culture across the global distribution team, maximising effectiveness and impact across channels and regions
- Qualifications
Who we’re looking for
- The Head of ETF Distribution will be a proactive entrepreneurial individual with global experience and track record of delivering ETF sales worldwide with a focus on understanding client objectives and building solutions to meet those needs
- A strong industry reputation and track record of relevant sales experience
- Exemplary stakeholder management skills alongside business development, relationship and pitching experience. A results-oriented individual who thrives on achievement and performance
- Strong product knowledge of ETF strategies, platforms and client types, with a proven track record of devising and executing business sales plans and achieving sales targets and driving growth
- Experience of business leadership and strategy development including team and budget management with a focus on developing the proposition and platform to drive growth
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with colleagues and clients, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others to deliver in partnership
- Willing to travel internationally when required and experience of operating within global organisation and with global clients
