We have an exciting new vacancy for a Head Housekeeper to join our team at one of the largest hotels in the Britannia chain, Norbreck Castle Hotel & Spa Blackpool. With 487 rooms, Norbreck Castle is located on the quieter side of the promenade, near charming villages like Bispham and Thornton-Cleveleys. Your duties will include:

• Overall responsibility for the cleanliness and presentation of guest bedrooms, public areas and conference and banqueting areas, ensuring that staff maintain the established standards, as specified in the Housekeeping Standards Manual
• Effective communication with the reception team to ensure return of ‘ready rooms’ at the earliest opportunity
• Understanding, controlling, and monitoring linen stocks, liaising with linen hire Company, and complying with supplier requirements
• Implementing and maintaining high levels of hygiene, and health & safety in all areas
• Ensure all brand standards are delivered by the team, including housekeeping and maintenance standards are upheld within the department
• Managing the recruitment, selection, and induction process for all housekeeping team members

Who are we looking for?

As an experienced Head Housekeeper, you will take pride in the delivery of exceptional housekeeping standards and customer service. You will have extensive hands-on experience working in a high volume multi faceted Hotel in a Head Housekeeping role. You will be a motivational leader who can demonstrate role model behaviours and have previous experience of managing, motivating, and developing a team. You will have an excellent eye for detail and a genuine passion for providing warm hospitality, always striving to exceed guest expectations. You will have strong communication skills with the ability to work well with others to represent the Company and the hotel in a loyal, professional, and knowledgeable manner. Confident computer skills will be required.
