We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Handyman with experience in flooring, roofing, welding, and painting. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of completing a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement tasks with minimal supervision.Duties and responsibilitiesPerform roofing repairs, including leak detection, and minor roof maintenanceWelding inside and outside of containersRepairing various pot holes on siteKeeping the site clear of rubbish and maintaining a clean environmentPrepare surfaces and perform interior and exterior painting, including patching, sanding, and finishingConduct general maintenance and repair tasks (carpentry, drywall, minor plumbing/electrical as applicable)Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate repair solutionsEnsure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high-quality standardMaintain tools, materials, and a clean, organized work areaCommunicate clearly with staff regarding job status and needsExperience and qualificationsProven experience as a handyman or in a similar roleDemonstrated skills in flooring, roofing, welding, and paintingStrong knowledge of tools, materials, and repair techniquesAbility to read and follow instructions, plans, or work ordersGood problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to lift heavy materials (up to 50 lbs or more)Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and in confined spacesAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and work with hands for extended periodsCompany cultureFamily run storage business based in Havant with a friendly environment
