An exciting opportunity has arisen for a CTA or ACA qualified Tax professional to join one of the fastest growing companies in the UK. The successful candidate will be practice trained and have gained broad indirect and direct tax experience in industry. This role reports to the Corporate Finance Director and will be responsible for owning and managing Tax for the Group. You will work cross the business, including the M&A team, advising on internal tax workstreams for acquisitions, coordinating information, reviewing tax risks and supporting due diligence and post-acquisition integration.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the Group’s corporate tax, VAT and operational tax requirements, strengthening governance and ensuring robust, consistent compliance across a large, multi-entity, highly acquisitive business. The role will work in partnership with the business to provide pragmatic advice and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce tax leakages and enhance tax efficiency. The expectation is that the Tax Manager will resolve most matters internally, improving processes, strengthening controls and significantly reducing reliance on external advisors.
