This role is ideally suited to a second-time mover from a Top 10 accountancy practice looking to step into a senior visible reporting role with genuine ownership and progression. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will take responsibility for group consolidation statutory reporting and technical accounting across the group while playing a key role in strengthening reporting processes and supporting future growth. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the preparation of monthly half-year and annual group consolidated financial statementsManage the year-end statutory reporting process and act as the main point of contact for external auditorsOwn and maintain the group consolidation process including intercompany eliminations and reconciliationsProvide technical accounting support across the group (UK GAAP / IFRS as applicable)Prepare and review statutory accounts disclosures and supporting papersSupport acquisitions restructurings and other group activity from a reporting and accounting perspectiveDrive continuous improvement in reporting processes controls and systemsMentor and develop junior members of the finance team About YouACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)Trained in a Top 10 accountancy practiceCurrently in your second move from practice likely with experience in a group reporting financial reporting or technical accounting roleStrong knowledge of statutory reporting and group consolidationsConfident liaising with auditors and senior stakeholdersDetail-focused with the ability to ope
