  • The Group Learning Team supports building skills across the whole enterprise to meet both local business area and group wide needs.
  • What you will be doing?
  • As the Group Learning Capability Lead, you will play a critical role in delivering OSB Group’s Learning & Skill Strategy. The Learning & Skills team plays a pivotal role in delivering OSB Group’s priority to be “future-fit” for banking.
  • As a Group Learning Capability Lead, you will be contributing to ensuring that our enterprise wide learning include the most relevant content whether this is internally designed or sourced externally.
  • You’ll also operate in cross functional squads to deliver a blended approach to learning utilising internal design and consultancy skills as well as external content, technologies and systems to create impactful learning for the organisation.
  • Your responsibilities will include…
  • Designing and delivering learning content to increase capability in enterprise-wide knowledge and skills requirements, ensuring the workforce meet current skill requirements and the goal of the organisation to become “future-fit”
  • Collaborating with internal and external SMEs, acting as a strategic learning consultant to understand needs and opportunities of business functions and the People Transformation team to understand the key capability gaps
  • Empowering business areas to take ownership of their learning by supporting them to build and execute their own learning plans to achieve their learning outcomes and embed a learning culture
  • Leading signature initiatives that may vary over time depending on priorities, for example, owning and driving continuous improvements and delivery of Mandatory Learning, Induction experiences, Learning Campaigns or Role related learning
  • Taking a ‘systems thinking’ approach designing learning journeys with consideration of all touch points during the colleagues end to end experience
  • Curating learning interventions using a blended channel approach and a mix of external and internally created content
  • Participating in agile ceremonies to help the Product Owners maintain visibility of flow, work in progress and blockers as-well as project managing initiatives as needed
  • Interacting with the Learning Management System and other technologies directly
  • Regularly evaluating the effectiveness of learning and format to track their performance against desired outcomes, taking a continuous improvement approach to our learning

We offer a base salary depending on experience ranging from £50,000 to £60,000 and this would be inclusive of the following benefits package

  • 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Previous experience

  • creating, delivering and evaluating learning and development content, using digital and AI-enabled tools to enhance design quality, relevance, and learner experience is essential
  • working effectively with and optimising Learning Management Systems, authoring tools and learning insight
  • planning and delivering end to end projects or products from inception, design, operational logistics deployment and improvement
  • designing and evaluating end-to-end learning experiences using data
  • using a range of insight sources to understand colleague/business needs and develop and implement recommendations
