Annual Salary: Up to £50,000 per annumLocation: BraintreeJob Type: Full-time - onsite I am currently recruiting for a Group HR Manager to lead my Client's Human Resources department. This role reports directly to the Board of Directors and encompasses a wide range of responsibilities including the management of HR policies, staff development, and ensuring compliance with current legislation. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, technologically savvy individual who is excellent at multitasking and possesses strong leadership qualities. Job Purpose: Line management of the HR & Safety Officer, including coaching and development of the HR/H&S team.Ensure all staff training is up-to-date and lead the learning and development initiatives across the company.Regularly review and update HR policies, contracts, and performance review systems in line with current legislation.Conduct market research and benchmarking to develop reports and suggestions for the Board of Directors.Maintain HR databases and systems, acting as the first point of contact for related issues.Oversee the company's adherence to health and safety policies and manage the company's pension scheme.Handle recruitment processes and manage relationships with recruitment agencies, lawyers, and union representatives.Ensure compliance with GDPR and stay updated with changes in employment legislation.Regularly visit all venues within the group to monitor and discuss staff wellbeing and operational issues. Required Skills & Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 – 7 is preferred but not required.Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role.Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.Technologically savvy with experience in HR systems
