Description This is a key role within the Group Finance function, supporting senior leadership with consolidated financial reporting and external disclosures. Key Responsibilities: Financial Reporting: Prepare Group statutory accounts under IFRS and support subsidiary accounts under FRS101Coordinate external audit processes and liaise with auditorsManage climate-related disclosures and risk registersPrepare risk register reporting and market announcements Projects & Controls: Lead external financial controls audits and internal audit reportingDrive improvements in internal control frameworksDevelop fraud risk processes and support insurance and acquisition accounting Management Reporting & Forecasting: Collate ESG and SECR dataSupport budgeting, re-forecasting, and analyst consensus reportingEnhance reporting processes for Board-level MI Technical Centre of Excellence: Provide technical accounting support across divisionsDraft accounting memos and maintain Group policies and procedures Treasury & Tax: Oversee cash flow forecasting and covenant complianceLiaise with tax advisors and review tax computations and provisions Profile A relevant professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).Strong technical accounting
