Group Credit Manager - Slough - Hybrid (1/2 days from home) - 3/6 month contract - £400 - £450 per day Job Purpose The Group Credit Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and embedding robust, scalable credit management processes across all group entities. The role focuses on standardising best-practice credit control procedures, strengthening internal controls, improving cash flow, and reducing credit risk while supporting commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and continuously improve group-wide credit management processesStandardise credit control procedures across all business units and geographiesDocument end-to-end credit processes, including onboarding, credit approval, billing, collections, and dispute resolutionEnsure clear ownership, controls, and escalation points within all credit processesLead the rollout of new processes, ensuring adoption and compliance Ensure data integrity and consistent reporting across all entities Implement KPIs and dashboards to measure process effectiveness (e.g. DSO, overdue %, dispute cycle time)Embed regular review cycles to monitor performance and identify root causes of issuesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce aged debt and improve cash conversion Build and develop a high-performing credit function focused on process excellenceDefine roles and responsibilities clearly within the credit organisationUpskill teams in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in a senior credit management or order-to-cash roleDemonstrated success implementing and standardising processes across multiple entitiesStrong understanding of end-to-end order-to-cash workf
