Groundworker job opportunity
Are you an experienced Groundworker with a strong background in Heavy Civil Engineering and Concreting? We have an immediate opportunity for a skilled, reliable, and safety-conscious individual to join our team on a major project.
The Role:
We are looking for a specialist to undertake essential groundwork duties, with a specific focus on structural concreting and heavy civils tasks.
Experience Required:
Proven, substantial experience as a Groundworker within Heavy Civil Engineering environments (e.g., major infrastructure, bridges, deep drainage).
Expert-level skills in Concreting, including formwork, steel fixing (basic knowledge), pouring, finishing, and curing to high specifications.
Proficiency in setting out, drainage, ducting, and general site duties.
Competence in operating relevant plant/machinery (tickets a bonus, but not essential for this role).
Compensation & Start Date:
Pay Rate: £20 per hour (CIS)
Start Date: Approximately 2 weeks from now.
Duration: Long-term project work for the right candidate.
Requirements:
Valid CSCS Card (essential).
Relevant experience must be verifiable.
Must be punctual, highly motivated, and adhere strictly to all site health and safety regulations.
Must have own PPE.
