They are committed to providing high-quality water and sewage services to over seven million people and businesses in the region.The role:We are seeking a diligent and dedicated Grounds Maintenance Operator. The successful candidate will play an integral role in ensuring the upkeep and aesthetic presentation of our various Wastewater treatment and Network sites. This is a hands-on position that requires a self-motivated individual who takes pride in maintaining our outdoor spaces to the highest standards.The role requires you to have a full driving licence to allow you to travel to and from the required grounds.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine grounds maintenance tasks, including mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and general landscaping.Operate a variety of grounds maintenance equipment safely and competently, such as lawn mowers, strimmer’s, and hedge cutters.Assist in the upkeep of pathways, fences, and signage to ensure safe and accessible sites for both staff and visitors.Conduct regular inspections of the grounds and report any issues or potential hazards.Work effectively as part of a team and also independently, managing your time to complete tasks efficiently.Application and handling of pesticidesFollow health and safety regulations and company policies at all times.Qualifications & Skills:To be successful in this role you need to be able to demonstrate practical experience in using grounds main
