Granulation Operative
Location: Newton Aycliffe
Salary: £27,000 per annum + £1,200 annual shift allowance
Contract: Permanent
Shifts: Rotating – Monday to Friday, 6am–3pm / 9pm–6am

Baltic Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Granulation Operative to join our well-established client in Newton Aycliffe. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term position within a stable and reputable company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Segregate and granulate scrap materials produced by the extrusion lines
• Store reprocessed material and accurately record its location
• Perform machine cleaning in line with the weekly cleaning schedule
• Complete all relevant documentation accurately and on time
• Load and unload wagons as required
• Operate a counterbalance forklift truck (FLT)
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required to support business needs

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a granulation or similar manufacturing role
• Valid counterbalance FLT license preferred
• Ability to work rotating shifts
• Good attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness
