Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a number of fantastic schools across Sefton and Southport who are looking to recruit Graduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) needs. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will: Support children on a 1:1 and small group basis Work with pupils with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, trauma and behavioural needs Help pupils to access learning, regulate emotions and engage in school life Support behaviour, emotional wellbeing and classroom routines Work closely with teachers and SENCOs as part of a supportive team This role is perfect for graduates in: Psychology Childhood / Early Years Studies Criminology / Sociology Sports Science / Coaching Education or related degrees You don't need direct school experience if you have: Experience with children or young people (care, coaching, camps, support work, youth work, tutoring, etc.) A calm, patient and resilient personality A genuine interest in SEN, behaviour, mental health or child development A desire to gain hands-on school experience Call for more info
