Ideal Candidate – Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant:
• 2:1 degree or higher (Psychology, Education, or core subject degrees desirable)
• Empathy, patience, and resilience when working with SEN learners
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Experience with SEN, tutoring, or youth mentoring is helpful but not essential
• Must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
This Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role is ideal for graduates aspiring to pursue teacher training, educational psychology, or other SEN-focused careers. As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 4-11 who require additional help due to learning difficulties, autism, ADHD, or social and emotional needs. You will provide 1:1 support, run small-group sessions, and work closely with teachers to ensure lessons are accessible for all students.
