There are 5 career pathways available within our Graduate Programme – you will be asked to select the one that interests you most when applying. Our Pathways Customer Experience & Operations: In our Customer Experience & Operations pathway, you’ll develop key skills in managing customer relationships and ensuring operational excellence. You'll gain hands-on experience in optimising processes, improving service delivery, and working on projects that enhance customer satisfaction. Throughout this journey, you'll be part of a team that strives to exceed customer expectations and streamline global logistics. 2 x 12-month placements East Midlands Gateway/Nationwide Sales: In our Sales pathway, you will dive deep into the world of logistics and supply chain solutions, helping to drive business growth and build lasting customer relationships. You’ll learn how to identify customer needs, deliver tailored solutions, and close deals that support Maersk’s ambitious targets. With mentorship from industry experts and hands-on experience, you’ll become an integral part of our global sales team 2 x 12-month placements East Midlands Gateway/Nationwide Customs Pathway: In our Customs pathway, you’ll become a key player in navigating the complexities of global trade. This journey will immerse you in customs compliance, regulatory frameworks, and international trade operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience ensuring cargo moves efficiently and lawfully across borders – mastering the balance between speed and accuracy. From managing customs declarations to working with brokers and authorities, you’ll learn to reduce delays, minimise risk, and deliver consistently high service to our clients. With guidance from customs experts and exposure to real-world challenges, you’ll develop the knowledge and confidence to support Maersk’s role as a trusted and compliant logistics partner. 2 x 12-month placements East Midlands Gateway/Nationwide Finance Pathway: In our Finance pathway, you’ll step into the strategic centre of Maersk’s global operations. This is more than working with numbers – it’s about using financial insight to drive decisions, add value, and shape the future. You’ll collaborate with finance professionals to understand everything from performance analysis and forecasting to cost optimisation and investment planning. Whether you’re tracking results, building business cases, or contributing to commercial strategy, your input will have real impact. With exposure to real-time business challenges and guidance from senior finance leaders, you’ll develop into a trusted advisor within a fast-paced, international environment. 2 x 12-month placements East Midlands Gateway/Nationwide Graduate Airfreight Programme – Launch Your Career in Global Logistics Step into the fast-paced world of airfreight, where every shipment tells a story and every decision can move goods across continents in hours. In our Airfreight pathway, you’ll develop essential skills in managing international shipments, coordinating with customers, and keeping operations running smoothly around the clock. You’ll gain hands-on experience in optimising processes, tracking cargo in real time, and contributing to projects that improve efficiency and elevate the customer experience. From urgent medical supplies to high-tech electronics, you’ll see how global logistics keeps the world moving—and you’ll play a key role in making it happen. Throughout your journey, you’ll collaborate with a dedicated team committed to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Recently graduated in Logistics & Supply Chain, Management, Business & Engineering Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Highly Organised, strategic thinker. Resilient and comfortable with change Commercial mindset. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Fluent in English written and Oral is essential General Work Experience – Voluntary or Social engagement Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Next Steps: The closing date for applications is the 31st October 2025. Once we have received your application, and if you meet our minimum criteria, you will be asked to complete a Video Interview, these are to be completed at the latest by the 15th November 2025. If successful at this point you will be invited to an Assessment Centre, which will be held at our site at East Midlands Gateway (DE74 2BB), these will be taking place in the first week of December. We will provide you with full detail in advance of what to expect on the day. The final stage of our process will be an interview with our Leadership team.
