- Your role at a glance
- The Workplace Savings Product team are responsible for the development, ongoing maintenance and governance of Legal & General’s market-leading UK Defined Contribution (DC) workplace pension and retail savings products.
- They create solutions that meet customer needs while delivering commercial value for clients and shareholders. Their work helps millions of people plan and save for the future, enabling them to enjoy a secure and fulfilling retirement.
- The team enable employers, trustees and advisers to meet auto-enrolment requirements with competitively priced, high-quality products that evolve with the changing pension and savings landscape. We also provide direct-to-consumer saving solutions through our Personal Pension and Stocks & Shares Individual Savings Account (ISA).
What you'll be doing
- Supporting the development of products that meet the needs, characteristics and objectives of our target market
- Developing and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products, propositions and regulatory changes
- Ensuring product developments comply with internal and regulatory policies before launch
- Undertaking Post Launch Reviews in line with governance processes
- Contributing to reports for the IGC, Mastertrust and Consumer Duty to demonstrate value for money and good outcomes
- Updating and maintaining the Product Hub SharePoint site as a central information source
- Supporting risk management by recording and reviewing risks in partnership with the Operational Risk team
- Conducting customer research and product testing to ensure propositions meet customer needs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders involved in the day-to-day operation of our products and propositions.

We’re not expecting prior industry experience, but we’ll want to see that you have the tools to develop quickly. These include
- A 2:1 degree in any discipline
- Curiosity and a desire to learn and innovate to deliver excellent customer outcomes
- A passion for identifying opportunities to enhance customer support
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively across teams
- A desire to learn about corporate client needs
- Basic knowledge of Workplace Savings products and relevant regulations (desirable)
- Awareness of market dynamics and trends in the Workplace Savings space (desirable)
