As a Junior/Gradutae Design Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting a team of project engineers by contributing to the development of new products and improving the quality and performance of existing ones. You will be involved throughout the product development cycle, ensuring innovative, efficient, and manufacturable designs that align with project goals and company standards.This role will really suit an ambitious junior engineer looking to develop their career, become and expert in this field and grow with the wider business personally. Design Engineer Key Responsibilities: Lead and contribute to the engineering and design of new product development projects, ensuring compatibility with existing manufacturing capabilities. Support the design process, including validation and testing activities, to meet defined project timelines and deliverables. Identify and propose improvements to departmental processes, promoting the adoption of best practices to enhance product development efficiency. Utilize and maintain documentation aligned with the NPD (New Product Development) framework, including tools such as DFM (Design for Manufacturability), DFA (Design for Assembly), and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis). Support the exploration and integration of new technologies, materials, and methods to benefit current and future product lines. Take ownership of your own professional development in coordination with the Senior Design Engineer or Engineering Manager.
