Bring your knowledge of our brand to a new role and grow yourself further The Governance Team (part of the People, Governance and Communications Function (PG&C)) serves as principal advisor to boards of directors on corporate governance matters and leads and implements a world-class corporate governance practice throughout the HSBC Group through end-to-end corporate governance advice. The Global Governance team consists of c.240 employees across 25 countries. It is led globally by the Group Chief People and Governance Officer who reports directly to the Group CEO. We are currently seeking a confident leader to join the SMCR and RRP Team in the role of Governance Lead. As the Governance Lead, you will act as a trusted advisor to the Head of SMCR and ensure effective governance, oversight and management of SMCR and RRP Management in Resolution (MiR) activities. You will support the Head of SMCR and Conduct in ensuring streamlined operations and compliance with the SMCR Regime and MiR ensuring that all relevant regulatory requirements are adhered to.
