A leading investment manager and personal-finance provider is seeking an experienced Governance & Consumer Duty Specialist to provide critical support within their UK retail investing division. This is an opportunity to step into a high-profile governance function at a pivotal time, ensuring robust oversight across a wide range of retail investment products and services. INSIDE IR35 HYBRID WORKING 3 DAYS IN LONDON Due to internal resource changes, the governance team requires a contract professional to support ongoing oversight activities and help shape the team’s future operating model. You will work closely with product, compliance, and risk stakeholders to ensure the firm meets its Consumer Duty, policy, governance, and reporting obligations. Responsibilities Conduct and complete Fair Value Assessments (FVAs) across a suite of retail investment products.Perform ongoing product monitoring against key features, terms & conditions, and Consumer Duty outcomes.Lead and support policy updates, governance documentation, and procedural maintenance .Assess the impact of regulatory change , ensuring alignment with internal standards and external requirements.Manage and prioritise the incoming regulatory and business change agenda .Prepare and deliver materials for board and committee reporting under the firm’s governance framework.Contribute to the design and setup of the strategic operating model for the governance function.
