We are experiencing an issue with our Google Workspace Mobile & Endpoint Management setup that is preventing users from signing in to their Google Workspace accounts on Chromecast with Google TV devices. When attempting to log in, Chromecast displays the following message: “To access your work account on this device, you’ll need to set a lock screen. This is your organisation’s mobile device policy.” Chromecast / Google TV cannot set a lock screen before login, so this creates a dead-end loop where users are unable to sign into their Workspace account at all.
