We are migrating our e-commerce store from ShopSite to Shopify and need an expert to handle the Google Merchant Center (GMC) feed migration carefully. 🔑 Current Setup Item ID format: PID#12761 Current product URL: https://www.exampledomain.com.php Feed type: XML file (not Content API via Shopify app) GMC + Google Ads are running off this file, so all history, approvals, and campaign learnings are tied to existing item IDs. 🎯 Goal in Shopify Keep Item ID = PID#12761 (no changes, IDs must remain exactly the same). Update product URL to Shopify’s new format (e.g., https://shop.exampledomain.com/products/example-2). Ensure pricing & availability update automatically from Shopify → GMC (via a third-party feed management tool, not the default Shopify/Google app). ✅ Requirements: Proven experience with Shopify feed setup & GMC migrations. Understanding of item ID preservation to avoid resetting product history. Familiarity with third-party feed tools (e.g., DataFeedWatch, GoDataFeed, Channable, etc.). Ability to ensure smooth transition with no downtime or disapprovals in GMC. 📌 Deliverables: Migration of existing XML feed to Shopify while keeping item IDs intact. Proper URL update to Shopify’s structure. Live syncing of pricing/stock from Shopify to GMC. Documentation of process for future updates.
