🌍 Global Procurement & Quotation Coordinator (Custom Print Packaging) Location: Remote (India preferred) Type: Full-time Reports to: Managing Director – Uneeq Packaging / GSL Wholesalers About the Company Uneeq Packaging, part of GSL Wholesalers Ltd (UK), is a fast-growing packaging brand specialising in custom printed packaging and premium plain packaging for restaurants, takeaways, and retailers. We are currently developing a new custom print website that will allow customers to get instant quotes and place bespoke packaging orders online. To support this growth, we are hiring a highly organised and detail-driven professional to manage supplier quotations, pricing, and order tracking across our global network of manufacturers. Our manufacturing partners are based in the UK, China, and UAE, and we are now expanding into Poland, Turkey, and India. Role Overview You will be responsible for managing all ongoing quotation requests, developing our master cost/sell sheet, and maintaining communication with our global suppliers to ensure accurate and timely pricing. Your work will directly support the launch of our new website by ensuring every product has an accurate landed cost, selling price, and lead time. You’ll work closely with the Design Manager and Operations Manager (both based in India) and report directly to the Managing Director (UK). Key Responsibilities 1. Quotation & Supplier Coordination Manage all custom print packaging quotation requests from the Managing Director. Contact manufacturers across multiple countries (UK, China, UAE, India, etc.) for pricing based on provided specs (dimensions, material, lamination, coating, quantity). Follow up regularly with suppliers to ensure accurate and timely responses. Build and maintain a quotation tracker (to-do list) and update progress daily. 2. Cost Sheet & Pricing Development Create and maintain a master cost + sell sheet for all custom print products. Ensure every line item has accurate data for MOQ, lead time, cost price, and recommended selling price. Support the Managing Director with profit margin analysis and cost comparisons between suppliers. Help structure the pricing data so it can be integrated into the new website’s backend for online customer quotes. 3. Production Tracking & Order Management Monitor the production status of each order: proof approval → in production → in warehouse → loaded in container. Coordinate with manufacturers and the China warehouse hub to consolidate containers efficiently. Prioritise bespoke packaging shipments over plain packaging and disposables to optimise space and lead times. Maintain regular communication with the Operations Manager for shipping schedules and cost updates. 4. Plain Packaging & Disposables Support with logistics, costing, and order tracking for our own-brand plain packaging and disposables. The Managing Director will manage RFQs — your focus will be execution, monitoring, and documentation. Skills & Experience Minimum 2 years’ experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, ideally within packaging, printing, or manufacturing. Strong English communication skills (Hindi proficiency is a plus). Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple supplier communications simultaneously. Experience working with Chinese, Indian, or Middle Eastern suppliers. Proficient in Google Sheets/Excel for cost and quotation tracking. Organised and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and deliver on deadlines. Understanding of international logistics and container consolidation preferred. Bonus Skills Experience building cost & sell sheet systems for e-commerce or packaging businesses. Knowledge of printing methods (lamination, foil, PE coating, kraft, etc.). Understanding of HS codes, Incoterms, and landed cost calculations. Working Structure Daily communication via WhatsApp group with the Managing Director, Design Manager, and Operations Manager. Shared data management via Google Sheets, Drive, and Notion/CRM tools. Working hours to overlap with UK business hours, with flexibility for supplier time zones. Success Metrics ✅ All RFQs logged, chased, and completed within target response times. ✅ Accurate and up-to-date cost/sell sheet ready for website integration. ✅ Real-time visibility of production stages and stock in China hub. ✅ Containers efficiently filled and freight cost per CBM optimised. ✅ Clear communication flow between suppliers, design, and operations teams.
