Location: West Midlands Reports to: Group Finance Director Contract Length: 6-months Salary: Negotiable day-rate inside IR35 About the Role We are looking for an experienced Procure to Pay (P2P) Global Process Owner to oversee and optimise the end-to-end P2P processes ensuring efficient management of procurement activities, vendor relationships and accounts payable processes including Travel and Expenses. This is a pivotal leadership role and will drive the vision and strategy for P2P across the business by driving process improvements, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategies, policies, and procedures for efficient and effective P2P processes, including requisitioning, purchasing, goods/services receipting, supplier invoicing and payments, employee travel and expenses and supplier query management. Define and enforce P2P controls, workflows, and approval hierarchies to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. Ensure accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, payment processing, reconciliations and employee travel and expenses processing. Identify areas for process improvement within the P2P cycle and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency, cost savings and risk management. Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies throughout the P2P process.
