ABOUT US We are a fast-growing publishing company specializing in fiction ebooks. We are looking for a talented fiction ghostwriter to join our Mystery & Thriller genre team, specifically for a psychological domestic thriller. Your role will be to produce high-quality mystery fiction novels of around 60,000 words each. We are a friendly crew and very much value long-term collaboration. ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY As part of the selection process, your first milestone will be to write a 2,000-word scene. This will help both of us evaluate if this is a good fit. If after the first milestone the decision is to proceed, we will hire you to produce the full story. We will send detailed requirements of the stories and format we are after. ABOUT YOU Please only apply if you meet ALL of the following criteria: - You are able to write unique human-written psychological thrillers that are 100% original work (we have a zero-tolerance plagiarism and AI policy). - You have a proven talent for developing fictional characters and writing compelling storylines. - English is your native tongue and you have an excellent command of grammar, spelling and punctuation. - You are able to produce top-quality work in the Mystery & Thriller genre, delivered on time to pre-agreed deadlines. - You are willing to include a sample of your writing (previous work) with your proposal. PAY You will receive $1.5 per 100 words. For a 60K word story, this equates to 900 USD. HIRING PROCESS If your application piques our interest, we will initially hire you for the first milestone as part of which we will ask you to write the 2,000-word scene. You will receive a fixed price of US$30 for this, irrespective of the subsequent hiring decision. Once we have reviewed your work, we will confirm whether we are able to offer the full story, and, all being well, subsequently also the follow-up books.
