I am looking for a professional native German editor with experience in developmental editing, line editing, proofreading, and book formatting/typesetting for both print (6x9 format) and eBook. My manuscript is written in German, with approximately 131,408 words. The book needs editing while maintaining the original voice and tone. The editor must be familiar with standard publishing expectations and genre consistency. Scope of Work: Developmental & Line Editing (German), including: • Tightening pacing and refining transitions • Deepening character development and emotional resonance • Enhancing flow and readability • Preserving the author's original voice Proofreading: • Correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax • Ensuring clarity, consistency, and style coherence Formatting & Typesetting: • Formatting according to 6x9 KDP standard publishing size. • Docx file and pdf file required Milestones: To ensure structured workflow and quality, the project will be divided into 13 milestones, each covering approximately 10,000 words (last milestone will include the remaining words + full proofreading + formatting tasks). Example Milestone Breakdown: 1. Edit & proofread first 10,000 words 2.
