Teaching Assistant Level 2 Hourly Rate: £14.63Location: LancasterJob Type: Part-time (Thursdays and Fridays, 08:45 - 15:30)Start Date: January 8th until Summer We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our team, working with infants up to Year 2. This role is ideal for someone passionate about contributing to the educational and personal development of young children. Day-to-day of the role: Assist in the delivery of daily lessons and educational activities for infants up to Year 2.Support the classroom teacher in preparing materials and setting up activities.Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.Work closely with the teacher to monitor the progress of students.Assist children with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom.Engage with children during welfare and break times to ensure their safety and well-being. Required Skills & Qualifications: NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.Experience working as a Teaching Assistant or similar role, particularly with early years or primary school children.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.A patient, caring, and creative approach to working with children.Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this process).
