As a General Secondary Teacher, your expertise will be crucial in delivering high-quality education and driving student achievement across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will be expected to create a dynamic, engaging, and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity and intellectual growth.

Key Duties Include:

• Planning and delivering high-quality, differentiated lessons according to the school's curriculum.
• Assessing, recording, and reporting on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively and promoting a positive, disciplined learning environment.
• Contributing to the wider life of the school, including extra-curricular activities and school events.
• Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date knowledge of curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Required Skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification is essential.
• A relevant university degree in a subject area is required.
• Proven ability to teach effectively at the secondary level (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4).
• Exceptional classroom management and organisational skills.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• An up-to-date Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (or willingness to obtain one).
