Job Title: GCSE Tutor Core Subjects (Macclesfield/Stockport Area) Location: Macclesfield/Stockport Area Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate) Job Type: Contract | Part-Time | ASAP Start Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for an experienced 1:1 GCSE Tutor in the Macclesfield/Stockport area, specialising in core subjects such as Math, English, and Science. We are a teaching agency committed to making a positive impact on young peoples lives by supporting their educational development. Our Childrens Education Team works closely with local authorities across the North-West to support vulnerable pupils who are currently outside of mainstream education. Contract/Position Details: Location: Within the community or pupil's home in Macclesfield/Stockport Position: GCSE Tutor Type of Work: Contract Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing support Part-Time Minimum Pay Rate: GBP25/hr Hours: 8am - 4pm (with occasional after-school/evening sessions, 1-4 hours per day) Requirements: Right to work in the UK Enhanced DBS on the Update Service Overseas Police Check (if applicable) 2 years of professional references QTS or equivalent tutoring experience Experience working within an SEN setting (preferred but not required) Further Information: The successful tutor will need to be patient, empathetic, and able to create and deliver personalised learning plans on a 1:1 basis. A therapeutic approach may be required to re-engage students with their learning. The goal is to provide structure in the pupils daily routine, ensuring their educational development continues and supporting them towards returning to a mainstream educational setting.
