Funeral Director | Aberdeen The Role As Funeral Director, you'll take overall responsibility for the coordination and delivery of funeral services. From the first meeting to the day of the funeral and beyond, you'll ensure that each family receives a service tailored to their wishes and cultural or religious needs. Your duties will include: Leading funeral services with professionalism and empathyRunning pre-funeral briefings and coordinating all aspects of each serviceSupporting and mentoring colleagues to maintain high standardsLiaising with arrangers, care teams, celebrants, and local community contactsEnsuring compliance with all legal and regulatory obligationsAssisting with preparation and chapel duties where required About You You'll bring both technical expertise and a natural ability to support others.
