- We’re recruiting for a Fund Accountant to join us on a 12 month FTC. We’re offering a competitive base salary.
- This FTC offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in fund accounting, reporting cycles, and system development. You’ll be part of a collaborative team supporting the transition to a new operating model, contributing to testing, validation, and process improvement.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting the transition to a new Strategic Target Operating Model (STOM)
- Designing and executing testing schedules for new outputs and reports
- Investigating and documenting test failures and proposing solutions
- Providing technical support on complex fund accounting areas including IFRS9 and repos
- Engaging with internal and external clients to understand and meet evolving requirements
- Maintaining robust controls and accurate documentation across team functions
- Collaborating with colleagues across Fund Accounting, Valuations, and Investment Operations
- Integrating quickly into the team and developing a strong understanding of the current operating model
- Qualifications
Who we’re looking for
- Understanding of fund accounting principles and reporting cycles
- Experience with financial instruments and accounting treatments (e.g. IFRS9, repos)
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas and pivot tables
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines under pressure
- Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills
- Exposure to transformative programmes or operating model changes
- Qualified or Part Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with relevant experience
