The Avenue Restaurant is a well established, highly regarded dining venue known for excellent service, professionalism, and a warm, welcoming environment. Following recent staffing changes, we are seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and customer focused Front of House Team Member to join our team at an exciting time of development.

This role is essential to ensuring high quality service delivery and to supporting our long term plans for departmental growth and new curriculum opportunities. If you are passionate about hospitality and supporting the next generation of service professionals, we would love to hear from you.

As a Front of House Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience and supporting the operational flow of our busy restaurant. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting and seating customers with warmth and professionalism
  • Managing bookings and ensuring smooth service delivery
  • Providing excellent customer service during all service periods
  • Working closely with kitchen and bar teams
  • Maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organisation
  • Supporting learners during service, offering guidance and modelling professional behaviour
  • Upholding the values, standards, and reputation of The Avenue Restaurant

About you:

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about hospitality and customer service
  • Friendly, approachable, and confident in engaging with customers
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment and remain calm under pressure
  • A team player with strong communication skills
  • Flexible to work peak service times, including some evenings
  • Experienced in a similar role (desirable but not essential)
