Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our prestigious Broxburn based manufacturing client.

What's on offer?

• Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm (early Friday finish)
• £13.76 per hour - paid weekly
• 4% shift allowance applied after 12-weeks (£14.31 p/hour)

Working as a Forklift Driver you will be responsible for moving goods, loaded pallets and equipment safely and securely. Your duties will include:

• Manoeuvring forklifts safely in busy industrial environments
• Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets
• Moving goods from storage areas to loading areas for transport
• Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the goods to their designated storage areas
• Ensuring forklift driving areas are free from spills or obstructions
• Regularly checking forklift equipment for faults or damages
• Consolidating partial pallets for incoming goods

To be successful in this position you will have a valid external counterbalance FLT license. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:

• Previous experience in operating a Double-Handler and/or an Aislemaster is desirable but not essential
• Previous experience in the drinks industry (preferred but not essential)
• Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail
• The ability to work well in a team, and on your own
• able to follow both written and verbal instructions
