WR Hospitality Services is looking for Front of House Team Members / Catering Assistants / Caterers / Ward Hosts to start in Southampton.

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and attentive Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and supporting the smooth operation of the establishment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

• Greet customers warmly and manage their seating arrangements
• Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen team
• Serve food and beverages with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist with food preparation when necessary, adhering to food safety standards
• Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and maximise sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
• Process payments accurately using the POS system
• Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed, including proper food handling procedures
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery

Skills

• Experience in food preparation or restaurant service is desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
• Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour
• Ability to perform basic maths accurately for billing and transactions
• Previous kitchen or culinary experience is a plus, but not essential
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue
• Organised with attention to detail in all aspects of service and cleanliness
