Our successful Ashton in Makerfield Branch is currently looking for an FLT & Pickup Driver to join our external, yard-based team.

This is a hands-on role supporting yard operations and completing local deliveries and drop-offs. A full clean UK driving licence is required, and Saturday overtime is available.


The Role

In this role you will work as part of our external yard-based team. Duties are varied and will include:

Assisting customers with collections and queries
Picking and packing orders accurately
Loading and unloading vehicles safely
Storing stock safely and securely in the yard
Maintaining a tidy, safe working environment
Completing local deliveries and drop-offs as required
Supporting the branch with additional duties as needed

Qualifications & Skills

Counterbalance FLT licence (required)
Full clean UK driving licence (required)
Previous Timber/Builders Merchant experience is an advantage

The Details

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £30,159 per year (based on 47.5 hours per week)
Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm (Monday to Friday) + Saturday overtime
Location: Ashton in Makerfield (in person)
