We are looking for an experienced flooring manager to one of our top facilities management client in Cramlington location.
The role involves a combination of technical expertise, leadership, sales, project management, and team building, and requires skills in communication, organization, and problem-solving. Thecompany advantage is that the in-house flooring division is integrated with a larger construction division, offering a cohesive and streamlined service to clients. Key aspects of the role- Leadership and team building: The manager is responsible for leading and supporting a team of flooring professionals, ensuring tasks are completed correctly and efficiently.
- Technical and project management: This includes surveying, estimating, and contract management, as well as a strong knowledge of flooring materials, installation techniques, and trends.
- Sales and customer relations: The role involves sales and project delivery, and requires building strong relationships with clients through excellent communication and a customer-focused approach.
- Safety and compliance: A high level of compliance awareness is necessary, and managers may be required to have qualifications such as an enhanced DBS check and SMSTS certification.
