Client’s e-commerce dashboard (MERN stack: React, Node.js, Express, MongoDB) was experiencing API timeouts and broken pagination. The goal was to: Debug and optimize slow Express.js endpoints. Add MongoDB indexes for faster filtering. Fix pagination logic on /orders and /users endpoints. Deploy updated build using PM2 and Nginx on AWS EC2. Budget: $10 (test task) → if successful, move to ongoing maintenance.
