• Overseeing the activities of the transactional finance administrators to ensure timely and accurate recording of system entries and leading, motivating and mentoring the team. • Support the transactional team with processing activities and lead in areas such as supplier payment runs and banking. • Be integral in the identification and implementation of business process improvements and efficiencies and the introduction of new systems and working practices. • Be the point of contact for internal and escalation query escalation and resolution • Ownership of the tracking, management and reporting of KPIs and governance/control activities Key Contacts & Relationships: Internal • UK Financial Controller • Employee’s direct reports • Divisional finance teams External • Suppliers • Banking provider • External auditors Qualifications & Experience Essential • Minimum 3 years purchase ledger experience • Proven experience of leading transactional finance teams • Experience with banking platforms • Process improvement and change experience • Highly proficient in accounting packages (ideally SAP ByDesign) • Proficiency in MS packages, Excel, Outlook/Teams • Business stakeholder management experience Desirable • Experience with procure to pay software packages • Recognised accountancy qualification (AAT or similar) Individual Competencies • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Diligence: Excellent attention to detail • Organised: Ability to plan and organise workload • Accountability: Take ownership of areas of responsibility • Collaboration:
