Legal Entity Reporting - Team of approx. 20 people, split between Reg Reporting, Statutory Reporting, Change and Controls & Governance. Responsibilities Supporting Bank Levy calculation and forecasting processes Support Accounting Policy Interpretation Committee function and any new policy papersSupport New Business Committee function and assessment of Financial Control impactSupport month end/quarter end close processes which include, monitoring controls and accounts, processing journals,reconciliations, analytical review and preparation of monthly and quarterly MISMonthly and quarterly head office reporting using trade and subledger dataStatutory reporting on a range of legal entitiesLiaison with external and internal auditors as requiredMonthly UK attestation and control of ledger balancesInvestigation and resolution of breaks and issues within the legal entitiesEnsure adequate documentation of processes and proceduresare maintainedAd hoc projects and tasks as requiredProvide cover for manager when required Experience required Professional accountancy qualificationUniversity degreeBig 4 experienceLegal Entity or financial control experience within a Bank (either Capital Markets or Treasury) Understanding of regulation within a Banking environment SOX audit knowledgePast working experience on relevant systems i.e. Peoplesoft, TM1Experience in problem solving Financial Control issuesBuilt effective networks across business areas, developing relationships based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the same
