We are partnering with CDS Co-Operatives on the search for their new Financial Planning and Analysis Consultant. CDS Co-Operatives is a charitable community benefit society supporting the development of housing co-ops. They own and manage homes across the South East of England, staying true to the mission to provide, support and promote co-op and community-led housing. CDS Co-Operatives exist to support better, fairer and more sustainable communities by providing high-quality housing management and property services.We are seeking a confident, values-driven FP&A Consultant to shape insight, planning and performance across the organisation and for their clients. Sitting at the heart of a finance team known for keeping its promises, meeting deadlines and delivering business value, you will turn complex data into clear decisions, strengthen financial controls and ensure our reporting is accurate, timely and used.You will partner with senior leaders to align financial strategies with operational goals, leading the annual budget and in-year forecast cycles while maintaining forward views of cash and funding. You will build and refine financial models, analyse results, surface trends and risks, and present practical recommendations that improve outcomes. A distinctive part of the role is stewardship of capital, development and service charge finance: you will oversee budgets and funding requirements for new business, manage the financial accounting for asset replacement, ensure service charge budgets and actuals comply with legislation, and coordinate audits with internal teams and external stakeholders. You will champion simple, written processes that raise quality and efficiency, and you will ensure controls operate effectively, escalating and resolving any inconsistencies quickly.Key Requirements:Have a professional membership of a UK accountancy body such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA of United Kingdom or equivalent recogni
