We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming calls and emails with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, ensuring all information is up-to-date and organised.
  • Assist with clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations using Intelligent Office and other relevant software.
  • Organise meetings, including scheduling appointments and preparing meeting materials.
  • Provide general administrative support to various departments as required.

Skills

  • Proficient in MS Office suite and other office software applications.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Experience with Xero is an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience in working within a financial services environment, preferably at Wealth management/IFA level Is preferred.
  • Experience using Intelligent Office back office system is a strong advantage.
  • Experience using investment platforms such as Abrdn WRAP is preferred but not essential.
  • Basic understanding of financial services products such as ISA’s and pensions is an advantage.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong clerical skills including filing, typing, and document management.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Pay: £25,850.00-£29,950.00 per year

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Financial services: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative: 2 years (preferred)

Language:

  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
