Client:Castlefield Recruitment are working with a North West based Housing Association in order to recruit a Financial Controller on a permanent basis. This role offers a salary of £65,000 - £70,000 dependant on candidates experience and hybrid working (3 days per week onsite).Duties include:· Manage the workload and performance of the core finance team to ensure all internal and external reporting deadlines are met· Review and authorise all outgoing payments, including leases, treasury movements and supplier payment runs· Review and approve payroll reports prepared by the payroll bureau and authorise payments to employees· Review all balance sheet reconciliations· Prepare and submit VAT returns, identifying any adjustments required and calculating any partial exemption VAT recovery· Review cashflow forecasts prepared by the Treasury & Leases Accountant and ensure any required changes are processed· Support the subsidiary finance team in delivering all required reporting to the group parent· Work with the Management & Service Charge Accountant and Finance Director to complete consolidated financial information for the group· Review the draft management accounts including all associated commentary and submit the final pack to the Finance Director for review?Person:· Minimum two years’ experience managing a professional finance team at Finance Manager/Financial Controller level· Experience in preparing consolidated financial statements· Accounting qualification essential?If you are interested in this position, please apply to the link below or contact Paul Bamford / Sydney Seddon at Castlefield Recruitment.?
