CMC Consulting are partnering with a leading healthcare business on an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller to take ownership of financial operations.This is a pivotal position within the organisation, responsible for driving financial performance and ensuring a high level of financial stewardship. The successful candidate will lead a small finance team, enhance controls, and play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the business.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Lead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.Oversee all finance operations, including transactional finance.Strengthen and maintain robust internal controls, accounting processes, and audit readiness.Manage the year-end process and liaise with external auditors.Provide strategic financial insight to support operational decision-making and long-term planning.Partner with non-finance teams to drive financial accountability and operational efficiency.Lead and develop a small finance team, ensuring accuracy and excellence across all financial processes.Qualifications & ExperienceFully qualified accountant (ACCA / CIMA or equivalent).Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector.Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate confidently across finance and operations.Send your CV now.Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.CMC Consulting is committed to equal opportunities.
