INTERIM FINANCIAL CONTROLLER Leicester Our client is seeking an experienced and hands-on Interim Finance Controller to provide strong financial leadership and operational support during a transitional period. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring robust financial controls, and delivering accurate and timely financial reporting to support business decision-making. This is a part-time role suited to a commercially minded finance professional who can quickly add value in a fast-paced environment. Duties and Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Oversee monthly management accounts preparation and reportingEnsure accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial informationDeliver variance analysis, forecasts, and financial insightsSupport budgeting and reforecasting processesPrepare board and management reporting packs Financial Control & Compliance Maintain and improve financial controls and processesEnsure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and accounting requirementsManage cash flow forecasting and working capitalOversee balance sheet reconciliations and review processesSupport audit processes where required Operational Finance Supervise finance team members where applicableReview payroll, VAT returns, and statutory submissionsIdentify process improvements and efficienciesSupport systems or process changes during the interim period Business Partnering Provide financial guidance to senior managementSupport commercial decision-making with financial analysisAssist with strategic projects or change initiatives as required <
