Financial Control Manager - Basingstoke with hybrid working We're looking for an experienced Financial Control Manager to join a leading organisation in the housing and community development sector. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping and strengthening the financial control framework across a large and complex group structure. About the Role Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you'll lead the team responsible for ensuring the organisation's financial controls are robust, effective, and compliant with accounting and regulatory standards. You'll oversee the design and operation of finance processes, systems, and data access, while mitigating financial and operational risks across multiple entities. Key responsibilities include: Maintaining and proactively updating the organisation's financial regulations and policies Providing assurance on key financial controls across systems, processes, and data Collaborating with senior finance leaders to strengthen the financial control framework Working with the Risk team to maintain the operational risk and control register Leading the management of legacy finance systems and supporting the transition to a new ERP platform Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations Managing and developing the Financial Control team to promote accountability and continuous improvement About You You'll be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant experience in financial control and compliance within a large, complex organisation.
