Financial Accountant sought by a global, £multibillion plastics manufacturer with close to 200 locations worldwide.The Role:Reporting to the Financial Controller, as Financial Accountant your responsibilities will include: All treasury enquiries: raising payments, inter-company netting, bank & group correspondence and bank reconciliationsFinancial accounts reconciliations and accounting, Balance sheet and P&L reconciliationsCash forecastingAssets and investments (cover)Leases and insuranceCross scope Finance/Management accounting tasksEnvironmental and sustainability financial reportingFinancial accounting general enquiriesAudit assistance: year-end, interim and statutory audit, HMRC government audits and other audit requirementsAnnual stock check attendanceYear End reporting and other adhoc reporting requirements. The successful Financial Accountant will demonstrate: Accuracy, attention to detail, excellent organisation skillsSelf-driven, friendly & a positive disposition, with a clear focus on high quality and delivering resultsActively participates in team work to ensure organisational goals are metAbility to prioritise own workload & multitaskPrevious accounting experience, AAT/CIMA/ACCA part-qualified or equivalentComputer literate in all MS Office applicationsPrevious working knowledge of SAP and SAGE would be an advantage Benefits: £26,000 - £32,000 depending on experience32 days holidays including bank holidays, rising to 33 days after 2 years’ service 50% hybrid over 2 week period after probation5 hours per weekFlexible hours (core hours 10am-3pm)Time off in lieuPension schemeAccess to benefits platform
