The Role – Financial Accountant A ‘high-profile’ role reporting to the Group Finance Director, interacting directly with the Board. The role will provide the successful candidate with a wide ranging position which has been designed to give you breadth and latitude not the norm in a standard Financial Accounting position. Duties Monthly - Preparation of month-end workings including consolidation reportingFinancial Reporting - Preparation of annual and half-year accountsPreparation of group statutory accountsPreparation of finance Board and Audit committee papersM&A support - investment reporting and due diligenceEvaluate new operational and commercial initiativesProvide analysis around capital expenditure investment decisionsMonitor financial performance in new business areasImprove financial processes and controls.
